      What should I bring?
      Clothing:
      -
Bring clothing for both cold weather and warm weather. Most of our students wear long sleeves or jackets in the morning until the weather warms up.
-Bring comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move around in. You do not need an umpire uniform; however, many of our students prefer to wear one.
-On Friday night, many of our students grab a bite to eat with our staff at a local restaurant. You may want to bring suitable clothes for a night out.

      Equipment:
-Bring your own personal equipment and plate gear. Don't worry if you do not have plate gear; you can still learn the basics of plate mechanics.

I've never umpired before but would like to start working games, can the South Texas Umpire Clinic help me?
-Yes, we are a great instructional school for individuals new to umpiring for several reasons:
      1. The tools you will get at the clinic will provide you the foundation to officiate all levels of amateur baseball with confidence.
      2. At the clinic, we create several small groups of students according to skill level that allows for lot's of one-on-one instruction from our pros.
      3. The friends and colleagues you meet at the clinic are a great resource for finding places to work during the regular season.
